Skirt! Magazine
PUNCH is thrilled to welcome another publication to Richmond. You may have seen Skirt! Magazine around town. It’s the tall, attractive freebie increasingly found at area shops. This magazine prides itself on great writing and appeals largely to women. On January 17th, several PUNCH staff members went to the Skirt! launch party at the Science Museum. It was a fun evening and attracted a diverse crowd of Richmonders eager to welcome a new neighbor. |

COMMUNITY
CreateAthon Update
We have fond memories of CreateAthon, our 24-hour work blitz last September. But we wondered where our creations ended up.
Here’s
the recap:
Homeward: Have you seen this
art about homelessness on city
buses around town? |

CASA of Chesterfield: Their fundraising brochure was printed in November and Chesterfield CASA has been thrilled to have this beautiful marketing piece. Chesterfield CASA has also been implementing recommendations from the Marketing Plan that PUNCH developed for them. It has helped them reach potential new donors and volunteers, as they serve Chesterfield County’s children who are trying to stay afloat in the juvenile courts system.
Comfort Zone Camp: This supportive bereavement camp relies on donations in order to remain free of charge to campers grieving the loss of a loved one. Thankfully, their gorgeous new brochure is helping bring attention to the importance of creating a safe place for children in need.
Central Virginia Food Bank: One thing we designed was a metal lunch box stuffed with goodies. While on display at the Berkeley Plantation, these retro snack packs caught the eye of the United States Secret Service as they set up camp during President Bush's visit. If you see a man in sunglasses and an ear-piece carrying a spiffy lunch box, do not attempt to steal his cookies.

FURS: The holiday solicitation card and brochures are getting FURS noticed and now that their spanking new Web site is live, there will possibly be an end to all canine suffering. Or at least one can hope. Check them out at www.FURSdogs.com. Special thanks to ZOOOM who printed the cards and brochures for a low, low price and to Top Dead Center who donated the programming of the site. |
| RX Partnership: These amazing folks are now sporting a new logo, which we hope will help get prescription drugs in the hands of those who cannot afford to treat their very treatable illnesses. Check out the new look and learn more at www.rxpartnership.org. |

CreateAthon on Campus
CreateAthon was on Campus at VCU and Kelly Adams and Devon Hoff lent their expertise to students of the mass communication department who volunteered to work on projects for local non-profits. The students appreciated the real-world experience of professionals like Kelly and all had a great time working on the deadline to beat all deadlines. Interested in learning more about the story? CLIENTS
Richmond Ballet
We are proud of the work we do for Richmond Ballet and proud to be members of a community that supports an organization of such renowned artistry as the ballet. In addition to doing their work, we like to support them as often as we can. Kelly Adams attended Richmond Ballet’s wine auction in February. The money raised will go to support the school, stage productions, and outreach programs. Bravo!
SPOTLIGHT: Amy Hentman

Production Manager, Detail Fanatic, Juggling Queen. We love Amy in the office because she oversees the many and myriad details involved in any job PUNCH produces. You want a 12-page brochure or a 6-foot banner? She knows the if, how, and how much about it. She also makes it look easy to have three busy kids, get to the gym four times a week, and never look ruffled. We have long suspected that she has a body double. It turns out she is just one organized professional (with great abs).
