Ella Video Productions

Background: PUNCH was approached by a high-end wedding video production company who was looking to expand. They were branching off with a new company, Ella Video Productions, that would cater towards a bride who was working on a budget and they were in need of a logo and tagline.

Challenge: Though Ella Video Productions was a “cheaper” option for brides, it still needed to be conveyed that the company would produce a quality wedding video with an artistic eye.

Execution: The client wanted a look that would appeal to the bride. More specifically, they wanted the logo to incorporate an umbrella. We created the logo with a light, whimsical feeling and a fresh color palate that the client fell in love with.

Tied with the tagline, “Exquisite doesn’t have to mean expensive,” we were able to communicate budget without using negative words, such as cheap, that are associated with budget.

Impact: The client was very happy with the final product. And once the logo and tagline were approved, we were asked to develop business cards, a demo case, and sales kit.
