PUNCH Gives Change for a Ten

image

The designers at PUNCH happily created submissions for ART 180’s “Change for a Ten” campaign in celebration of ART 180’s anniversary.  PUNCH has supported ART 180 and its mission to bring art programs to disadvantaged children in Richmond since its beginning.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary this year, ART 180 has invited everyone to submit their ideas for change they’d like to see in the community on a template the size of a $10 bill. Along with the artwork submission, artists are asked to donate $10. The dollars will be exhibited at a big party on October 10 at VCU’s new Brandcenter. ART 180 hopes that one thousand people will submit creations.

Charlie Connell, managing partner at PUNCH, says, “ART 180 had made a huge impact on the youth of the Richmond community over the past 10 years. The Change for a Ten initiative holds true to their mission. It gives everyone a voice for change while providing funding for future programs. The PUNCH team jumped at the opportunity to participate and created 10 Tens that were fun, creative, and most importantly— done for a good cause.”
