Launch of Bella Rosa identity
OIC | Briarpatch is pleased to have completed the first phases of a new identity program and branding effort for Bella Rosa, Richmond’s largest couture bridal salon and women’s formalwear retailer. The work has included the creation of a unique logo that effectively conveys the personality of the retailer, a series of print pieces that echo that personality, and a full-page magazine ad that has effectively introduced the new brand to its market. Also slated for production is the rollout of the store’s Internet presence and a continuing ad campaign promoting the company’s prom, cocktail and bridal lines.
Bella Rosa is a new company formed in December 2004, when Heather Rose Harton purchased the Richmond location of Virginia Beach-based Karen Eagle, Inc., which had been in operation since 2000. All of the store’s staff and managers remained in place, and the well-regarded selection of high-end couture and designer bridal fashions will see little immediate change under the new ownership. Harton, who served as Karen Eagle’s operations manager, now serves as President of the new company and brings to the role a customer service philosophy learned from her tenure with the Walt Disney World Company.
OIC | Briarpatch worked closely with Harton to develop a personality for Bella Rosa that fit her vision for the new store, and the firm’s designers are excited about the strong visuals that resulted from the collaboration. They have created stylish designs that reflect Bella Rosa’s elegant and classic gowns known for their international flair. As with all their clients, OIC | Briarpatch brought their perfectionist approach and commitment to market-driven graphic design solutions.
OIC | Briarpatch is a full-service graphic design firm specializing in corporate identity and branding.
