Communicating with designers & printers

How can you, the designer and the printer speak the same language of creativity using different terms and concepts? What are they looking for from you, what do you need from them?

On Thursday, June 3, Kelly Adams and Laura Marr of OIC | Briarpatch will provide insights on how to enhance the relationship from which all effective communication springs. You’ll also receive their “Writer’s Guide” to communicating with designers and printers.

Kelly established the firm in July 2000 to provide creative services and print production and management. She has 13 years of design experience. In 2000 she served as treasurer for the American Institute of Graphic Design and currently serves on the Marketing Committee of the Children’s Museum of Richmond.

Laura was formerly a partner with Fuller Designs in Northern Virginia. She has ten years of experience in design and illustration and has won awards for her illustrations from a variety of organizations, including Neenah Paper, the International Society of Performing Arts Administrations and Graphis Logo.
